Namaskar Greetings This is a series about Spiritual Practices. The entire course can be taken in your own time. To go through all the materials at a leisurely pace and implement the practices in your life would take about 18 months or so. This covers the full breadth of meditation and other spiritual practices and spiritual lifestyle. This course has been going for several years now. In the past many hundreds of people have been introduced to or learnt various spiritual practices, particularly meditation, through this media. Thousands of people have benefitted. Usually each week, go through 1 or 2 topics, along with the supporting materials. These materials explain many aspects about spirituality and the practical aspects of meditation and yoga. The supporting materials include graphics, slide shows, booklets, music files, etc. All are of good quality. The course starts from the basics and builds up from there. It is important to note that it is essentially practical. Philosophy is included, and is there to support the practical side. Usually the philosophical matters covered relate to the practical elements of the course. The best approach is to practice what is offered. The basic elements are not that difficult, although may take a little time to master. Through practice you learn, experience the benefits, and then appreciate deeply why there is a need for regular and daily practice. In this way you also get an advanced understanding and derive intuitive knowledge. Without the practical implementation, it may not be clear from an experiential view as to why you are doing some things. This course will give you many practical hints and techniques and deepen your understanding of spiritual practices, meditation and yoga. From these you will be able to gain understanding from experience. The course will not range so far and wide with numerous styles or be a smorgasbord approach. Its purpose is practical learning and so will be systematic. It is certainly for the spiritually oriented. More information soon. Kind regards Dharmadeva --- "The real meaning of education is trilateral development - simultaneous development in the physical, mental and spiritual realms of human existence. This development should enhance the integration of the human personality. By this, dormant human potentialities will be awakened and put to proper use. Educated are those who have learnt much, remembered much and made use of their learning in practical life." - P R Sarkar
