Elegant Universe Read the Elegant Universe by Brian Green, a physicist who has become quite popular lately. His book explains string theory and how it reconciles the theories of relativity and quantum mechanics in a manner that is approachable by non-scientists. As he explained it string theory essentially holds that all matter, energy, particles and other aspects of the universe (and possibly other universes) are all created through the vibrations of almost infinesimally small strings. Although this is an oversimplification it certain has a similar ring to a number of spiritual philosophies that look at creation as vibrational in quality. Beyond this we seem to be moving rapidly into a time when biological sciences are on the rise.
